Today is a day, I will always remember. Today many great lives has been lost: Kara Kennedy, Eleanor Mondale and former Illinois Senator Charles Percy. Kara, The only daughter of the late Sen. Ted Kennedy, died suddenly--of lung cancer-- while at a health club in Washington, D.C. She was 51. Eleanor Mondale, the vivacious daughter of former Vice President Walter Mondale died--of brain cancer-- at her home in Minnesota. She was also 51. Former Illinois Senator Percy who was at odds with President Nixon, died in Washington at the age of 91.
Beyond the national known faces, a great friend of mine lost his grandfather today of cancer. It's clear to say cancer is so common in the human race and kills many of our love ones. I send my sincerest condolences to the Scott, Kennedy, Mondale and Percy families in their time of grief.
