It's Friday, March 30, 2012 and this week is defiantly a wrap.
As you transition your body from work to party mode, have your goals and mission ready for next week. You become a better person by practicing, just as you will become more successful by preparing for the obstacles ahead. Some people say that being successful is not as important as becoming valuable, but I believe that being valuable has much to do with being successful. "The regard that something is held to deserve," is the definition of value. In straight-forward text, your value is what you deserve.
Everyone is valuable to me, because everyone contribute in our society; someway or another.
The important point is that being of value should not be your goal in life. You should desire to be successful; have accomplishments to look back on in the future. That way you can smile about all the road blocks that you had to overcome and achievements you have actualized. Road blocks are not anything to smile about, but without them your skin cannot strengthen. Few things, if any, will be given to you so any chance you have to become stronger, take it for what its worth.
This applies to both men and women.

There are things in our life that have meaning, then there are things that do not. Am I right? The truth is there, but most of the time, we don't know what is suppose to be apart of our life and what isn't. And the things that we think should be, should not be. That goes with people, as well. Let's say you are with a person for many, many years, thinking that because you love him/her, that person should be apart of your life. Sorry, but you are just caught up.
Love traps all of us at some point or later, and it's not until we are slapped numerous times by the reality of the situation and our friends that it's not meant to be. And that it's going to end, soon. The ironic thing is 99.9 percent of the time, it has already ended. Yes, I know, love plays with our emotions way too much. However, at the end of the day you'll know if something or someone is suppose to be in your life. How? Because, there is a different vibe, a different feeling being presented to and felt by you.
The greater the difference, the better.
Going through so many things and people just to find what you want and need is an difficult journey, but when you think about it, at the end it's all worth it. Every yell, every tear, every sad night. Don't keep anyone or anything in your life, especially if you know in the back of your mind that it's not going to work. Personally, I have made this mistake so many times; Holding on, hoping for change, and it never came.
If you ask me, love is a good thing, but it's real tricky. If you don't know how to deal with the roll-coaster of love, don't bother with it at all. Live the single life, until your ready for the commitment, and all its pros and cons.
Stop telling people things that you don't mean, plan to follow through with, or could careless about. The last thing you want is for someone to be depending on you for something bigger than what they initially told you. I know at times you think you're doing the best by telling them what they want to hear, but that is not going to be the case always. Would you rather have the truth or a big fat lie? In order words, which way will be easier to accept at the end of the day? Hum, did it take long to think about that?
On that note, unless you have been told something and was later told the truth, you know exactly what I'm talking about. The feeling is not the best and at the end of the day, all you can do is look in the mirror and say, "should of saw it coming". Let's be real--the person would rather know that he or she is worth the truth if nothing more. If you're not going to be there to support, then just say it. In other words, say it how you mean it. No sugarcoating--at all.
I believe that if you can be real with others, then you will always be true to yourself. And if you cannot, then you will lie to yourself, just to seem better than everyone else. That's wrong and self-centered. Being honest is not that easy, but it's not hard either. Just like many things in life, you have to understand why it happens or why it's important, in order to believe in it. For example, I use to lie all the time to people, because I didn't want to say "no" or tell them the "real reason" why not. Although, 80 percent of the time, I didn't want to hurt their feelings and just desired personal time to take care of myself.
Being a nice person, not just at heart, makes life so difficult. Don't you agree?
I am speechless about what happened today (3/6) in Jacksonville (Florida) at Episcopal School. Dale Regan was an outstanding leader and if you ever visited Episcopal, you'll know. Tragedies that resembled today's is why I founded the Coalition for Peace of America in 2006; working to control crime and make our community and schools safer.
It has been years since a tragedy like this has happened so close, and let me tell you, the feeling is still the same--very saddening. That is why I am working vigorously to get the Coalition for Peace of America back on the ground. If you're in to help, join the rally now!
Dear March 5, 2012:
You were very interesting, and not bad for a Monday, but there is still a little madness in the air. First off, why do fathers jog with their 6 year old sons in the cold, in the morning? I mean don't the poor little child have school in a few hours? If you really think about it, most children just fall asleep in class, no matter what grade they are in...
Except for college students, who just say "F" it and sleep-in. Hold on, let me correct myself; except for high school and college students. The whole point is, isn't that little boy going to be tired and fall asleep right in class? Let's hope not. China has already surpass us.... From what I saw, he was already tired and they weren't even five feet from the stop sign. No kidding.
Not saying he was chubby or anything.
Aha, but no way am I accusing the father of helping his child sleep in class; It was just ackward to see, that's all. Wait, after all obesity in America has reached the maximum and out of control. OMG, where are the experts and doctors? Simply because, the United States need health class. Again.
Anyhow, those was just my thoughts for today--in blog style.
